The beginning of December typically marks the end of my wedding season and is a time of year that I very much look forward to. It’s the time of year that I get to recharge, slow down, and reflect on the year that has just passed.
Tradition and family time are two things that are very important to Ben and I as we raise our young family. It is our goal to create memories for our girls that will become part of our legacy as our girls hopefully carry on our family traditions in their own homes someday.
Finding our Christmas tree is a tradition that I love having documented each year as we take our annual trip to Valley View Christmas Tree Farm in New Tripoli. This time of year, especially, is about love, the warmth of home and togetherness. There’s just something so special about cuddling together in the crisp air, walking the rows of trees, breathing in the scent of pine and seeing nothing but miles of farmland around us.
And I just LOVE having a stack of Christmas-themed photo albums out on the coffee table to peek through during the holiday season. It’s so fun to see how our family evolves and changes each year.
I hope you enjoy some snaps from this year’s hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.
Much love,
A
