Hayden and Andy got married this past Friday at the bucolic Durham Hill Farm which is a stunning farm and wedding venue in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was the most joyful wedding day I’ve ever had the pleasure of documenting.
Durham Hill Farm has an incredible bridal suite which is the perfect Getting Ready space for the bride and her bridesmaids. It has beautiful windows for dramatic natural light photographs and made for some gorgeous portraits of Hayden as she prepared for her big day!
Hayden and Andy opted for a First Look prior to their ceremony. I am always so thrilled when a couple decides to go this route, because we end up getting SO MANY beautiful portraits of them on their wedding day! It creates such a relaxed pace to the day and gives my couples time of solitude to be fully present with one another on one of the most important days of their lives together.
The ceremony was a beautiful service overlooking the horse pasture and scenery of one of Buck’s County’s most beautiful farms. Rustic church pews lined the lawn framing the flower-covered hand hewn arbor. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings which was a beautiful and heartfelt way of involving the ones they love. During the recessional, the couple was showered with dried lavender—it smelled so amazing!
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an extended cocktail hour just outside of the ceremony space, while we gathered with Hayden and Andy’s immediate family to capture family formal portraits. We then snuck away for some Golden Hour sunset portraits of the newlyweds. The photos we captured during this portrait time are my favorite of the entire day!
The reception took place in the lovely stone barn at Durham Hill Farm. They decorated the reception space with an assortment of blue, white, and dusty violet flowers and rustic elements to match the feel of the farm which dates back to the 1700s. Floral garlands ran along the Amish-made farmhouse tables which were highlighted by the Edison bulb cafe lights above.
Hayden wore a customized gown from David’s Bridal which featured a see through bodice and tattoo lace while Andy wore a navy suit with a floral tie which matched the colors and vintage floral theme of the wedding–they looked so incredible!
Hayden and Andy’s wedding was just the happiest occasion and so much fun. I hope you enjoy viewing some of the images from their special day!
