Katie + Brian | Married!| A Durham Hill Farm Wedding

Wedding

Katie and Brian are just two of the sweetest people you could ever meet.  I can’t believe it was almost a year ago that they contacted me about photographing their wedding.  I remember at the end of our consultation, I told them, “The big day will be here before you know it!”   Boy, did that year fly by and sure enough, this past Saturday, we celebrated the new Mr. and Mrs!

You may remember Katie and Brian from my recent blog showcasing the beautiful images captured at their Lehigh Valley engagement session just a few weeks ago.  If you haven’t checked it out, you can take a peek here!

Katie and Brian hosted a beautiful rustic barn wedding in gorgeous Bucks County at Durham Hill Farm in Pipersville, Pennsylvania.

You wouldn’t believe looking through these images that they were calling for rain and thunderstorms all day!  We were even under a tornado watch at one point during the reception.

Both Katie and Brian began the day by getting ready at Durham Hill Farm.  They have an amazing new bridal suite which was perfect for Katie and her seven bridesmaids!

They opted not to do a First Look, but we were able to squeeze in a photo of the two of them without them seeing one another prior to the ceremony.  Wait until you get a peek at how we pulled that off! 😉

Even with the impending rain and storms, they opted to keep their plans for an outdoor ceremony. They wrote their own vows in an emotional ceremony that had all of their friends and family tearing up.  I even felt myself getting a little teary-eyed!

After the ceremony, we grabbed some portraits of the bridal party and the newlyweds before the rain came, then headed into the beautiful barn for an amazing reception.

As you scroll through this beautiful wedding day, I hope you enjoy this gorgeous couple as much as we did! Their smiles and their joy are absolutely contagious! Brian and Katie, thank you for trusting us to capture all of the moments of your special day.  I hope these memories are treasured always and that your life together be blessed.

A special thank you to Elizabeth and Kevin at Durham Hill Farm for their hospitality, to the vendors who came together to showcase their talents for our couple, and finally, to my second shooter, Caren, for being my right hand gal for the day.  Xo.
