Spring has been so slow to come here in the Lehigh Valley; it seems like we have been stuck in an eternal winter. I mean, I can’t remember the last time we had snow so late in the season! All of the cold weather has put a major delay in the arrival of the spring blooms and greenery.
During winter, business generally slows down as most bridal clients plan spring, summer or fall Lehigh Valley weddings. After a busy wedding season, the break is very much welcome. However, as time goes on, I begin to ache for spring and get SO excited to get back to working with my amazing clients.
Katie and Brian are two of my clients who are getting married this spring! In fact, their wedding is only a few short weeks away! At first, they weren’t so sure they wanted an engagement portrait session. I am SO glad I was able to convince them of the benefit of doing it! You see, the engagement session is such an important time for the photographer and bridal clients. It’s a special session where we get to spend some time one-on-one and get comfortable around one another. It’s also the time where my clients learn some of the core poses we will work through on the wedding day! By the time we are finished with the engagement session, we all feel like old friends.
Katie and Brian made the trip all the way from Delaware to the Allentown Rose Gardens in the Lehigh Valley for their engagement session. The weather was absolutely beautiful and the golden light was just amazing! It was the perfect setting for an engagement session.
As soon as I met them, I knew that this was going to be an easy shoot. Their personalities and their smiles make it easy to instantly fall in love with them and I simply cannot wait for their wedding day at Durham Hill Farm in Pipersville, Pennsylvania!
Katie and Brian’s session was my first engagement session of 2018 and I have to say, it was a perfect way to begin wedding season! I am SO very thankful for my amazing Hope & Stay Couples that I get the privilege to work with every year! I hope you enjoy a peek at some of my favorites from their session!
