Heather and Evan wanted a rustic feel for their engagement session. As we chatted about their vision, they mentioned that a location with old barns, tractors, “something with a farm-feel” would fit their style. There were a few places in the Lehigh Valley that certainly met each of these criteria, but there was one in particular that was calling to me: Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Heather and Evan live in Maryand, so planning their engagement session had to be carefully orchestrated with a weather-contingent plan. They were in the Lehigh Valley to visit family and celebrate the Easter holiday for a long weekend, so we took advantage of their travel plans and scheduled their engagement session for that weekend.
We were so fortunate that the April evening we chose was free of any “April showers” and full of the golden glow of a spring evening.
The three of us hit it off right away. We had so much fun and really let loose during this engagement session. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Celebrating the journey to their wedding day, getting to know one another, and getting some amazing, connected portraits in the midst of all the fun.
