Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Jenna and Rob to photograph their engagement session at Longwood Gardens. To say this place is incredible is a complete understatement. And spring at Longwood…well, it does not disappoint; making the most perfect backdrop for two people who are so very in love.
It’s a long trip to Longwood Gardens from the Lehigh Valley, especially in early morning rush hour traffic. My time in the car is usually spent chauffeuring my two little ones around, so it’s quite rare when I get some quiet time alone to listen to music and just drive. I took advantage of the alone time and turned on my new XM Sirius subscription (thanks, babe!). The first song that came on ( When I’m Married by Wilder Adkins) was so incredibly perfect and had such relevance for the day. The chorus of the song goes:
It was amongst the gently creeping vines of Longwood that I got to capture the real Jenna and Rob. I watched them blossom as they connected, reminisced about their love story, and made plans for the future in front of my lens.
